<p>If you’re a filmmaker who’d like to explore the ways AI tools can enhance your creative process, Full Sail DC3’s Generative AI for Filmmaking course can help you on your journey. Open to both novice and experienced filmmakers, this three-week class covers the role AI can play in pre-production, production, and post-production. You’ll use AI chatbots to develop ideas, outlines, and scripts; generate still images, short clips, and extended clips during production; and use AI editing tools to complete a short film. By blending theory with practical applications, this course teaches the basics about the role of rapidly evolving AI tools in the world of film. </p>

Generative AI for Filmmaking

Students explore the ethics of AI in media and use generative AI tools to outline a story prompt, generate a script, and create a storyboard for an AI-driven short film.

Introduction & AI for Pre-Production

Students discover how they can generate backgrounds, dynamic images, short and extended clips, music, and more for their short film.

Production

Students wrap up by editing a cut of their short film using generative AI editing tools and discuss ways to search for AI editing opportunities.

Post-Production

This course explores the practical applications of generative AI tools in the film production process.
